World's Oldest Bible is Going Online
There are a lot of ways to view the Bible online these days. My favrite is Bible Gateway. But there is also Bible.Com and Audio Bible and others. But now, Saint Catherine's Monastery at Mount Sainai in Egypt plans to put scans of the worlds oldest extant bible - the Codex Sinaticus - online! They willl even provide the scans in frequencies other than visible light, to help highlight text which has worn away over centuries, but is visible under ultra-violet of other lights. This is very interesting, and will no doubt help Bible students all over the globe better undertand the original text!
