Study Tip: Keywords! We've talked about them before, but as you saw at the last practice, we are getting more serious about them for Nationals. Keywords (or "once-used-words") are words used in only one verse in both of the books we are studying. By learning these keywords, you are learning "landmarks" in that tell you EXACTLY where you are in the text. Consider spending some extra time with the keywords list this week to sharpen your skills.
Upcoming Events:

WEEK 16: Review 1 Corintians 5 - 10
This week (December 17 thru December 23), please review 1 Corinthians, Chapters 5 through 10.
Remember, there is no practice next Wednesday (or the Wednesday after).
If you want to read the chapters online, click here. (Free website Biblegateway.Com)
DOWNLOAD: Did you miss the original downloads for these chapters? They are posted here one last time for 7 days. No password required, this time.
Study Tip: So how is review studying different from studying for a new chapter? Answer: Not much. Your brain learns and re-learns pretty much the same way. If you are weak on a chapter, use your usual techniques. But if you are STRONG, there are a few ways you can IMPROVE even further: learn keywords, quiz yourself in question form, and try to recite as much of the chapter as you can at a time, until you know the whole thing. These are ways you can get better and better as the year goes along.
Parents: Remember, review time is where you can be especially helpful to your quizzer. Help them stay motivated, and try to engage them on the material with both quiz and content questions!
Upcoming Events:
- Friday, December 18: Quiz Team Christmas Party
- Saturday, January 22-24: MIDWINTER QUIZ MEET - Lancaster, PA
