Generally speaking, there are three kinds of learning styles: Audible learners (those who learn by hearing), Visual learners (those who learn by seeing/reading), and Kinesthetic learners (those who learn by doing). Different people have different learning styles, and trying to use a study technique which works for a different style can backfire for you. If you are not sure what kind of a learner you are,

Knowing your learning style can be a key to effective studying and quizzing. For example:
- If you are an Audible learner, read the bible out loud or pick up an bible-on-CD for studying.
- If you are a Visual learner, spend your time reading the text silently and write our your own questions for studying.
If you are a Kinesthetic learner, find a friend and go through practice quizzes together for studying, or have your parents quiz you regularly throughout the week
And, of course, not everyone is only one learning style, either. You may well follow multiple styles, and a combination of the suggestions above may help you study.
