BibleLIteracy.Org is a group dedicated to bringing back biblical literacy to schools, not in the name of religious indoctrination. But rather in order to promote cultural and historical understanding. After all, when the hottest conflicts in the world are taking place in Jerusalem between Jews and Muslims and overseen by Christians, all over their interpretation of scripture's view of the role of a Holy City, can someone really understand the issues without understanding the Bible?
