REMINDER: T-shirts for sale for Midwinter tonight

If you want to have a Quiz Team Shirt for Midwinter, they will be on sale tonight at practice for $15. Shirts are available in Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large (adult sizes). We encourage all quizzers to have a shirt for Midwinter and Districts. (It is not required, however. If you do not have one, please bring a BLUE shirt for Saturday's quizzing.)

REMINDER: T-Shirts on sale tonight!

If you're in Quizzing and do not have a team shirt (or if you have grown and need a new size), Coach Mark will be selling shirts at practice tonight for $15. These uniforms are not a requirement to quiz, but we suggest all quizzers have them for at last Midwinter and Districts quizzes. If you buy them tonight, you can wear them to the quiz meet this weekend!

No T-Shirt Orders Tonight

I had planned to bring t-shirts tonight for any quizzers who wanted to buy them before our next Quiz Meet. But I have come down with a nasty cold, and will not be attending practice tonight. I'll start bringing the shirts next week. They can be bought for $15 each.

Last chance for T-shirts

If you did not get a t-shirt this year, and would like to have one for Districts, you do have one more chance. Coach Mark will have the shirts at practice on Wednesday. As before, shirts are $15 each.

REMINDER: T-shirt orders tomorrow!

Remember that I will be taking orders for new Quiz Team t-shirts TOMORROW at Quiz Team Practice. The shirts will be $15 each. Please come ready to make a commitment.

We encourage all quizzers to have a Quiz Team Shirt for Midwinter and Districts. We're using the same color scheme this year as last year, so if you already have a shirt you do not need to upgrade.

Parents, Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Are you ready for new shirts?

The last few years, we have been holding off on buying new Quiz Team shirts, because of the rough economy. But it is time to invest in some new ones! We will be placing orders for new shirts in the first few weeks of Quiz Team Practices. What we'd like you to think about this week is, "Will YOU be buying one?" No one is required to have a Quiz Team uniform, and it will be acceptable to use the ones from last year if you prefer. But the more shirts we buy, the better deal we get. As of now, it looks like it'll be around $15 per shirt.

Please discuss with your parents this week, so you can walk into the Kickoff next Wednesday, ready to tell us your plans. No money will be collected then, and anyone who is new will have another week or two to make their decision.

Midwinter stuff for tonight

Just a reminder about two important Midwinter Details for tonight.

1. Remember to bring your $15 annual quizzing fee.

2. If you need a Quiz Team shirt, remember to bring $13 for a t-shirt or $21 for a hoodie. And come early, as it is first-come, first served.

Nationals T-Shirts Now Available Online

Personally, I think the only shirt you need is your Quiz Team uniform, but Pastor Scott tells me that laundry facilities are not guaranteed on the trip. So, you may want to click over the Nationals Store and think about buying an official Challenge 2008 t-shirt. These are DEFINITELY not required, but they do look pretty cool and are a good way to secure a souvenir.

REMINDER: Quiz Team Uniforms Tonight!

Remember, the new Quiz Team uniforms will be available TONIGHT. Your order will be there. T-shirts are $13, and Hoodies are $20. Payment is due before you take yours.

Shirt Orders Being Taken TOMORROW!

Please come to tomorrow night's Quiz Team practice ready to select your preferred Quiz Team Shirt style and size. I have negotiated with the printer, and you have your choice of a t-shirt or a hoodie (designs below). T-Shirts are $12, and Hoodies are $20. You may buy one, or the other, or both. Money will be accepted starting tomorrow night, but is not due until the shirts arrive (in about 2-3 weeks).

If you will not be at practice tomorrow night, please drop me an e-mail or phone call ASAP. I'd like to place the order Thursday night, if possible, to have maximum chance to have the shirts before our next practice.

(Oops! The first version of the post said "tonight". It was typo. I have corrected it.)

Quiz Team Jersey Prototype

Here is the design for the Quiz Team Jersey we discussed on Wednesday. As we said, it would be more costly than past years - about $30 - but it would also be unique. Take a look and let us know what you think. We can also get the same design as a hoodie or t-shirt for about $20 and $10 respectively.

Come to practice on Wednesday with your opinion, or e-mail the coaches today. No decisions have been made as of yet, and we want to know what each quizzer thinks.
