Reference Questions for 1 Corinthians 1-7

Yesterday was all about Finish-the-the-Verse. Today is all about Reference Questions. The preliminary list of reference questions is up and ready for your review. This list only covers 1 Corinthians chapters 1 thru 7, but the other chapters will be along shortly.

Last year, we had quite a competition amongst the guys to see who could do the best on references. Who will be this year's Reference King... or perhaps there will be a Reference Queen this year? Download it now and print, to give yourself a head start.

VIDEO SERIES: What is a situation question?

A situation question provides a Biblical quote (i.e. something a person said) and then asked for specific information about that quote. You may be asked to provide information like "Who said it?", "How was it said?", or "To whom was it said?" And in most cases you'll be asked many of those at once - "Who said it, to whom, and how?"

VIDEO SERIES: What is a Reference Question?

A reference question is asked on a passage of scripture which is the same across the multiple books that are being studied. (For example, Jesus answered his critics MANY times across he many gospels.) It includes a reference in the question to differentiate the answers. The quizzer answering the question must provide the full question, as well as the answer. Reference questions are handed out at the beginning of the year, so everyone knows which questions might be references.
