REMINDER: Bluefish coming on Monday!
Don't forget that our year-end Bible Quizzing Event is Monday at the Bridgeport Bluefish! We're meeting at 6:30 PM to buy the ticket (about $10 each) and go in together. Bring some extra money to buy dinner and any souvenirs you may want. It's Trumbull and Monroe together!

We've got one more event coming up for the Bible Quizzing season! Monroe & Trumbull will be getting together to watch the Bridgeport Bluefish play the Camden Riversharks on Monday, June 1. Please meet at the ballpark at 6:30 PM to buy tickets (about $10). We'll see you there!

ANNOUNCEMENT: Quiz Team Kickoff on September 5
It's that time again! Time for another year of Bible Quizzing. Come on out at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 5 for our annual kickoff event! Both parents and teens are welcome to come, see what we do, ask any questions, and meet the coaches. There is no commitment for coming out to the kickoff, so bring along any friends interesting in joining the team.

Quiz Team Homecoming is TOMORROW!
Are you ready for the return of the Ghosts of Quizzers Past? Quiz Team Homecoming is TOMORROW. We're hoping for a big turnout of graduated quizzers. Whether you last quizzed last year, or you last quizzed decades ago, come on out to quiz against the current team and then stay for snacks and fellowship at 7 PM Wednesday!

ANNOUNCEMENT: Revelation Generation
As a sort of kickoff music event, the Quiz Team and Youth Group are going to Revelation Generation in Frenchtown, NJ on the Saturday Labor Day weekend (August 30). You can click on http://revelationgeneration.org/ to get all the information about the day's event.
We have the two vans reserved for the day but only 24 tickets. These tickets are $40 each and will be offered on a first come first serve basis. Jim arranged with Pastor Scott that after QT had an opportunity to buy them we would offer them to the entire youth group. We need to hear from you ASAP. After Pastor Scott returns from the missions trip we will turn any unsold tickets to him and he will offer then to the youth group. If you want to go contact Coach Jim ASAP and as usual we will need to collect the $40 to hold the tickets.

Quiz Team Christmas Party!
WHEN: Friday, September 7 at 6 PMWHERE: Calvary Church in the old Felloship Hall (downstairs, the old building)
WHO: Members of the 2007-2008 Trumbull Bible Quiz Team and their families
COST: None. But each family is asked to bring a potluck dish. (Please contact Coach Jim by the Evite or phone or e-mail to tell him what you are bringing)
GIFT GAME: Each year there is an optional gift-giving game. If you wish to play, please bring a gift worth between $5 and $10 appropriate for either a teen boy or girl. (The game is simiilar to a Yankee Swap).
