There was a very gracious lady who was mailing an old family Bible to her brother in another part of the country. 

“Is there anything breakable in here?” asked the postal clerk. 

“Only the Ten Commandments”, answered the lady.

This week is not only the Christian Holy Week. Today, also begins the Jewish observance of Passover (many churches mark Maundy Thursday with a Passover Seder, which is what Jesus was partaking in at the Last Supper). So, it is fitting to see that the classic movie, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, is being re-released on DVD. While not a strict Biblical retelling of the story of Moses, many have found the film to be an inspiring reminder of the life of Moses and the giving of The Law. The Law that pointed towards Christ.
