Practices resume tonight for Nationals. Only those going to Nationals need to come - by now you know if you are going or not, as your registration was due a few weeks back. We'll be starting at the normal time - 7 PM - in the Round Room/Missions Room.
See you tonight!

WEEK 34: Study Galatians 1-3
The schedule for the sprint to Nationals is ready for your review.
Practices are now for those who are going to Nationals. We will have specific weeks which are for the whole team, so be watching the blog and your e-mail for those special dates.
This week (April 24 thru April 30), please study the Galatians 1-3
If you want to read the chapters online, click here. (Free website Biblegateway.Com)
If you want to listen to the chapters online, click here. (Uses the free RealPlayer.)
If you would like to review the reference questions from Galatians, click here. (Thanks to the EFCA.)
If you would like to review the keywords, click here (Uses free barefootministries.com)
Study Tip: There are two extremes in post-Districts quizzing which can lead to disaster: (1) not studying at all (because we figure we know it) and (2) studying to the point of burnout (where the material loses all interest). Be careful as you study now to avoid both of these extremes. Set aside specific time to study every day - be sure to AT LEAST read thru the chapters for the week twice a day - but be sure to leave yourself time for other things as well so that your brain can recharge.

So... now what?
Okay, Districts is over and you are basking in the glow of the wins. So, what comes next?
First, yes, we are taking a team to Nationals. If you are going, you already know it and have communicated your intentions to Jim and Michelina, and have gotten in your registration to Pastor Scott.
Second, we are taking off this Wednesday. This will give us all a chance to rest up and recharge our batteries before the sprint to Utah.
Third, be watching this space for an official announcement about the study schedule for the coming weeks.

Coach Mark's Photos are UP!
Great job, again, team! Lower took home FIRST PLACE in their division, and Upper took home SECOND PLACE in theirs. We're very proud of you, both for the win and for the character you showed both during the quizzes and out and about in the world and at your host homes. Click on either of the photos below for the whole set.

Week 33: Prepare for Districts
This week (April 17 thru April 23), prepare for Districts by reviewing all books, all chapters! (Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colisians, and Philemon, case you forgot.)
You have the tools, you have the question list, you have the ability, now is the time to prepare yourselves for the "Big Game.
Study Tip: At this point, your studying should be focussing on filling in the gaps in your knowledge. Each quizzer has their own strengths and weaknesses. Identify them and look to solidify your strengths and compensating for your weaknesses.
In the meantime, don't forget the basics of preparing for any big game or test:
- Get plenty of sleep - this will be hard on Friday night, so be sure Thursday night
- Eat healthy - vitamins and protein can help keep your mind alert
- Don't over-stress yourself - remember, we want to have fun and praise God together, winning is icing on the cake
- Support your teammates - build each other up and speak up if you need help
And please be aware that next Wednesday will be a break week. No practice. Use the time to rest, relax, and recharge.
